Great Korean BBQ spot! Lots of fresh banchan, tasty sauces, and a fun grill setup with cheese, corn, and egg around the pan. Food was delicious, portions were generous, and the atmosphere was lively. Would definitely come back!
Came at 5 PM on a Saturday and got a table right away. The meat was great, and the staff were super friendly with big smiles. Really enjoyed the vibe here. Will definitely come back again!
Food was superb and served quickly.
We got the highest priced beef and pork options for the grill. There were many side dishes both stand-alone and surrounding the meat grill. The cheese corn takes time to cook, as does the scrambled egg. The chestnut flavored makgeoli is great too.
I came around dinnertime and it was noisy. I generally don't like excess noise if I'm in a small party of 2-4.
It was my first visit at Daldongnae Richmond Hill location. The staff was friendly and checked in with us every so often. There were so many different cuts of meat, we tried the Beef Hanging Tender, Beef Chuck Steak, and Pork Belly. So I would need to come back again in the future to try the rest of the menu. This is different from the other AYCE Korean BBQ, their food quality is higher and tastes better.
We tried Daldongnae Korean BBQ on Hwy 7 and ordered beef tail, beef tender, and some chicken. The beef was definitely the highlight, tender and flavorful. Chicken was okay, but not as impressive.
The side dishes were just average, nothing really stood out. The atmosphere was also pretty standard, not bad, but not very special either. Service could’ve been better; the staff didn’t seem very attentive and we had to ask for things more than once.
Overall, it was a decent experience mostly thanks to the quality of the beef. Not amazing, but still worth trying if you’re in the area.
