Jack's Richmond Hill

I've been to several Jack's over the years, and they rarely disappoint. I had the crispy chicken sandwich and it was pretty good - tasty and hot. Not a huge meal, but big enough for lunch. Service was efficient and friendly. Prices are reasonable.

The place has a fun, modern, casual decor. The weather wasn't good enough to sit outside on the day I went, but the patio looks nice and spacious. I would definitely come back.

Nov 18, 205 update: I had the chicken parmesan meal with linguini and garlic loaf. Hot, fresh, delicious and served fast!

Jack Astor’s Richmond Hill never disappoints. The upbeat vibe is perfect for catching up with friends, and service is always top-notch.
Isabelle was a fantastic server, friendly and attentive.

I had the Steak Frites a flavorful and perfectly cooked. My friends loved the Hunter's Chicken, Mac n Cheese, and Asian Wonton Nachos. Great food, great vibes, and consistently solid service. Highly recommended!

Had a great time at Jack’s! The food, service, and ambience were all on point. Our server, Isabelle, was very friendly and took excellent care of us throughout the meal. The Hunter’s Chicken was delicious and paired perfectly with the mashed potatoes and gravy. The sticky toffee pudding was the showstopper — definitely a must-try if you’re visiting. Overall, fantastic food and service. I’ll definitely be coming back!

We came here twice recently to watch the Blue Jays: once for Game 7 and again last night for Game 1 of the World Series. We frequent bars for sports games, so we’ve definitely had our share of experiences where service falls short during busy nights. That wasn’t the case here at all.

Both times, even with the place packed, bar and dining area completely full, the team went above and beyond. Last night, I arrived without a reservation for a group of 7 an hour before the game started, and even though they were fully booked, they found a way to accommodate us with two tables side by side.

The service was attentive and friendly (shoutout to Alon, Sam, and Steph). One of them saw me eyeing the happy hour menu and came right at the start time to ask if I’d like to order anything.

Drinks arrived quickly, and the staff were clearly well prepared for the night. Beers were fresh and not flat. We only ordered a few appetizers, so can’t speak much to the food, but everything we had was solid.

Overall, the energy, service, and atmosphere made for an awesome night. We couldn’t have been happier and will definitely be back for future games.

Service was incredible. Kudos to the 2 young men that were on top of it refilling drinks and checking in on us.

Pan bread was the best I’ve had in a while.

Loaded smashed potatoes were cold and not worth the upgrade. But glad to try them. Really appreciate the split plating when we said we’d be sharing.
