We lived here from 2012 until 2019. The Management turned over once during this time. We dealt mostly with the prior management and with the new team for about two years prior to leaving.
The campus was amazing...one of the few like it in Toronto. Private, gated courtyard spaces, and plenty of interior room. We had pets (dog and two cats) while living here and the team was very accommodating.
We rented a unit with three bedrooms and 2.5 baths with an underground parking space. The living space was generous. The mostly finished basements were perfect respite and working spaces - especially in hot summer. There were quirks and challenges during our times there (sewer and water work required a few big dig projects right outside our front door) but all was fixed to everyone's satisfaction, and we were well informed of work.
One of the things I really enjoyed about the spaces were their L-shape. That meant you could go about your daily activities without disturbing another section of the house. Laundry noise was *never heard upstairs, let alone on the top floors.
It's quiet, yet slightly luxurious for a mid town space.
Also bonus: the location is right close to four major modes of transit: Road/highway. You are right next to the 401, but not close enough to hear the road noise; Rail. There is a GO Station (Oriole) within 8-10 mins moderate walk from the address.; Bus. The units have a bus stop right off the corner making a rush to transit quick. Bike. The Don Valley bike trail and Lawrence RailTrail are all close by, making a bike ride out to the area much easier than in previous years. And of Cours walking isn't too shabby either with shops close by. Even Ikea is not too far a walk away if you have 20 mins to spare and transit via the Oriole GO Stop.
Lovely neighbourhood, convenient spot, slightly pricer, but note that these units are rent controlled as well given their age, so if you do get in, and plan for a longer stay (5-10 years) they are a great value given the circumstances.
It looks like you're outside Toronto, because the place is surrounded by green area. Friendly and calm atmosphere.
