S & J plumbing

Had a great experience with S and J Plumbing. The owner was very friendly and personable, and the two gentleman who fixed my leak - Daniel & Cam - were professional, efficient, and great to work with. I reached out to multiple plumbing companies, and S and J gave me the best price by far. I would definitely recommend!

I was on the brink of a disaster today, sewage was backing up in a basement bath tub, whenever we flushed a main floor or second level toilet, it was disgusting. I was referred to S & J Plumbing, so I called them and they responded immediately. I had two plumbers at my house in an hour of my call. They repaired the problem, they even replaced a cistern mechanism and a water hose for me to save me further grief down the road. When they were finished they cleaned up and presented me with a very reasonable bill. I have now added S&J Plumbing to my list of home maintenance go to people. I was very pleased with today's outcome and I'm so glad that my neighbour referred them to me. Thanks very much S&J, great job.

I’ve used S&J a couple of times, most recently in order to replace the main valve to our home which started leaking after about 17 years. We were also dealing with water hammer throughout the house due to the pressure to the home being too high. S&J installed a new main valve and pressure regulator. They answered the phone every single time I called and showed up first thing once I was able to have the town turn off our water. They are very professional, installed quality parts (not the cheap stuff made you know where), and did a super clean install.
Highly recommended.

A few months back we used S&J to replace every toilet in our home and then instal 2 sets of bathroom taps. Very satisfied. Just this week one of the tap handles was loose and the off position was out of alignment. I sent a short email, and not only did they immediately respond and take ownership of this minor issue, they had someone out in a few short hours to correct it.
I was satisfied with the initial instal and very impressed with the follow-up! Support local business and business owners that live in our community.

I found this plumber to be honest sounding on the phone which is why I hired them. They came by and did good work, I was pleased with the outcome. However, after reviewing the bill I realized that they were dishonest with the amount of time they spent at my place and seemed to have overcharged me. After calling to speak with them on the phone they sounded accommodating and honest again, willing to provide clarity on what was billed and why. But they then followed up with a text message saying that they felt they had provided what's required. Overall I left feeling ripped off when all I wanted was some clarity on the costs. So while the work was good I would never willingly deal with these people again.
