Potato Bar Scarborough

Been here a few times, I loved the wings and fries with potato sauce & garlic aioli. I've also tried some other stuff and it's always 10/10. The worker Khushi was exceptional and made the experience even better, she had great recommendations. She always has a positive upbeat attitude and made us feel very comfortable

We dropped in around 1pm for lunch. The man working there was very friendly. He explained the different potato flavours and the best sellers were the macaroni and cheese $15.99 and Mexican fiesta $16.70 regular size. The snack size is smaller and cheaper. He said they have been in business for 6 months. I ordered the macaroni and cheese and it was so cheesy and the macaroni was cooked perfectly with minced beef on top. It was delicious. My husband enjoyed his Mexican fiesta. It comes in mild or spicy and he got mild and said it had a kick to it. He didn’t need the container of spicy sauce the server put in the bag. Which was nice of him. They do have vegetarian options. The wait time was less than 10 minutes. The restaurant is in a plaza with lots of other restaurants around and plenty of parking. I would definitely be returning to try the chilli potato, big Philly, English classic and many other versions. They also have loaded tator tots, poutine, and loaded fries.

If i could give 10 stars i would. Super friendly & helpful staff. It was a quick last minute decision that did not disappoint. My husband got the "mac n chz", my son and i each got the "take it cheesy" and my daughter got the "chili tots". Portions are generous so we had left overs. Would definitely reccomend. BONUS POINTS: kiddos got stickers to take home 🙂

What a great find! My visit to Potato Bar was fantastic. We ordered the Greek Freak loaded potato, which impressed with its fresh toppings and perfectly balanced flavours. The tater-tots were crispy, golden, and absolutely delicious. The chai was another highlight which was very rich, warm, and the perfect way to finish the meal. To top it off, Khushi was incredibly sweet and attentive, making the whole experience even better. I’ll definitely be back an absolute pleasure to visit! 😌

Food was really hot and fresh and there was lots of it. The potato itself was creamy and smooth, highly recommend!! The sauces do lack a bit of seasoning so order something with a bit of spice but that’s just my personal preference. Gravy was the same, lots of it but not super rich in flavour. The cucumber in salsa was a bit weird, but I would definitely order again!!
