The moment you step inside, you’re greeted by a warm and inviting ambiance that makes you feel right at home. The aroma of freshly grilled meat fills the air, instantly building up your appetite. Their food is simply delicious — every bite is full of flavor and perfectly cooked. The Ashish Tavo and the grilled chicken with rice, salad, and fries are a must-try combination that truly showcases the restaurant’s quality and authenticity. The chicken is tender, juicy, and packed with spices that hit just the right notes.

What really made my experience even better was the exceptional service. The cashier, Tammy, deserves a special mention. She was incredibly hospitable, professional, and smiling throughout the entire process. Her positive energy and friendly attitude made me feel genuinely welcomed. It’s because of her that my visit became even more enjoyable. She ensured everything was up to standard and took great care of customers around her. Farooj Abo Alabed is a place I’d love to visit again and again — not just for the food, but for the warm service and atmosphere that make it truly special.

This place has truly become one of my absolute favorites not just for me, but even for my cat!
We only eat from here, and every two or three days I have to get him his favorite meal from this restaurant. He finishes it like it’s a feast every single time!
That says a lot about how good the food is even animals love it!
The food is always delicious, the place is clean, and the staff especially the cashier and the manager inside are incredibly kind, welcoming, and always make sure every customer leaves happy.

I came to Farooj Abo Alabed after seeing it all over TikTok, and it definitely lived up to the hype! I tried both the Tawouk and the Signature Chicken shawarma wraps, both were absolutely delicious, full of flavor and super satisfying. The fries weren’t as crispy as I expected, but they were still really tasty. Overall, great experience! 😋😋

Today I had the chance to visit a newly opened restaurant in Scarborough, and even though it’s still in its soft opening phase, I was pleasantly surprised by the experience. The space itself is on the smaller side compared to many other restaurants in the area, but what it lacks in size, it more than makes up for in atmosphere and, most importantly, flavor. The highlight here is without a doubt the rotisserie chicken. Unlike the typical machines you see in many places, this one slowly rotates over a charcoal grill, which gives it a smoky aroma and flavor that is hard to find anywhere else. The taste was unbelievable—juicy, tender, and packed with a unique blend of seasoning that really sets it apart from any other chicken I’ve tried. It’s both comforting and exciting at the same time, and I was genuinely blown away. To complement the meal, I highly recommend trying their homemade ayran, a refreshing yogurt-based drink that balances the richness of the chicken beautifully. It’s clear the restaurant has put thought into creating something different for the Scarborough dining scene, and if this is just their soft opening, I can only imagine how much better it will get once they are fully established. This spot definitely deserves attention, and I’ll be coming back for sure.
