For the past two days, I’ve been experiencing upper back and shoulder pain. I booked an appointment with Yumi, an RMT, who provided a one-hour massage treatment. After the session, my pain was completely gone.
Yumi was both kind and highly professional. The spa itself was tranquil and impeccably clean, making me feel completely at ease and relaxed.
This was, without a doubt, the best spa experience I’ve ever had—and the most effective treatment I’ve ever received. I can’t wait to bring my whole family to Oakspa!
Got a gift card here and wanted to try it out. Anne did a great job. She checked the pressure level was okay and asked what areas to focus on.
Definitely coming back here again.
Amazing massage and facial! I’m pleasantly surprised. This spa is a hidden gem. Great ambiance, excellent technicians very welcoming and prices are reasonable. Highly recommend!
My wife and I have been going to Oak Spa for a few months now. The facility is extremely clean with friendly staff from the receptionist to the masseuse. As soon as you enter the facility you will be requested to change into slippers provided by them to keep with the cleanliness. There is plenty of parking as it is located in a plaza. The masseuses are excellent and do a good job of identifying and relieving any pain. Highly recommended ! I usually go for the RMT massages but hope to try their other services in the near future.
The massage was okay overall, but a few things could have been better. The therapist didn’t fully understand my instructions at the beginning, and when I asked for attention to specific areas, she just recommended acupuncture instead. During the massage, she used a hot towel and rubbed it quite harshly, which felt more uncomfortable than relaxing. There was also a flapping motion on the body that made a loud noise and wasn’t really soothing. Most of the massage was done over the bedsheet, which reduced the effectiveness. Not a terrible experience, but not one I’d rush back for.
