Dr Lackman performed a hysterectomy for my mother Soudabeh 3 weeks ago. She’s been very pleased with how she handled the entire process. Dr Lackman explained everything from the very beginning and thankfully everything has gone as she said. I recommend her for her great communication and attention to detail. Her secretary was also a pleasure to work with. Every time I called she was very helpful.
When writing this review, the first thing that came to my mind was Dr. Lackman’s warm smile and her comforting, encouraging laughter.
I’m 29 years old, but in my conversations with Dr. Lackman, I felt a deep sense of being gently and attentively cared for—like a child under the protection of someone I could fully trust. She is truly one of the most responsible and professional doctors I’ve ever met. Her meticulous care and compassion deeply moved me.
I underwent surgery in a foreign country, far from my parents, and I was incredibly scared. When I hesitated about whether I should tell my mom, Dr. Lackman told me that she’s also a mother, and if her child were having surgery abroad, she would definitely want to know. That simple, sincere comment helped me decide to tell my mom after the operation. The surgery was a success, and during the procedure, Dr. Lackman gently held my trembling knee, looked at me reassuringly, and comforted me the entire time, helping me stay calm.
The day after surgery, I had many questions. Worried that I would take too long to explain them verbally, I wrote everything on my phone and handed it to her. Even though it was clear she was very busy, she patiently read every single question and answered them in detail—never once showing any impatience, even when some of my concerns were repetitive due to anxiety.
At my one-month follow-up, she remembered to ask, “Did you tell your mom?” That moment truly touched me—I felt how genuinely she cared for her patients. I also brought up a few health concerns unrelated to the surgery, and she thoughtfully and patiently analyzed them, giving me clear advice on how to handle those issues as well.
To those who have left negative reviews: a doctor’s duty is to heal and save lives, not to provide customer service. We should appreciate the many years of intense study and training doctors go through to be able to help us, instead of criticizing them for not meeting customer service expectations. Doctors are under enormous pressure. If you have many questions, I recommend doing what I did—write them down in advance. It allows the doctor to answer more efficiently and respectfully of both your time and theirs.
Dr. Lackman is a trustworthy and highly experienced doctor. She speaks directly and confidently, never vague or evasive when it comes to important matters. This kind of straightforwardness might be misunderstood by some as impatience, but to me, it’s a sign of professionalism. In the end, what matters most is her sound judgment and reliable care—and in those, she excels.
Dr. Lackman was very professional & detailed when my condition was diagnosed. She performed both the biopsy & Leep which were both explained throughout so everything was crystal clear. I highly recommend her.
Dr Lackman is an amazing Doctor. She is professional and kind. She made me feel comfortable and assisted me with my mobility issues during my appointment.
Dr. Lackman was absolutely amazing during this difficult time..from my consultation where she took the time to explain my results and opinions to the day of my surgery. She was kind and provided so much information. She kept my loved ones updated from start to finish. I'll never forget you holding my hand in the operating room before I went under, making me feel safe. I appreciate you and thank you. I also received a call from Nancy, the reception the day after surgery to follow up which was such a nice gesture and much appreciated. Thank you Dr. Lackman for helping me feel better.
