Great Lakes Montessori School

Wonderful school. Tremendous educators. Took a lot of searching in this neighborhood, but we finally found a place we feel secure in. Safe, clean facilities. Good bones. No corporate mumbo jumbo. Just good, honest folks who will be there for you. Heart was full after finding Great Lakes!

I can't recommend this daycare enough! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm smiles and a welcoming atmosphere. The staff is incredibly caring, attentive, and professional. They truly go above and beyond to make sure the children feel safe, happy, and engaged.

The facilities are bright, clean, and well-equipped with age-appropriate toys and learning materials. The variety of activities offered, from arts and crafts to outdoor play, are amazing. There’s also a great emphasis on early childhood education, which I really appreciate.

Communication is top-notch. The daycare provides regular updates, photos, and even a daily report on my child's progress and activities. It's clear they prioritize creating a nurturing, supportive environment for every child. If you're looking for a daycare that feels like a second home, this is definitely the place!

My grandson attends the Thornhill location and I am amazed at what they do. He is only 18 months but has settled in and loves his teachers and I see him learning something new every day. The attention to details such as quality of food and the cleanliness are so good. I can only see him thriving in this environment with all the varied activities. I also love to read the daily report about what he has done that day. The attention to detail is impressive.

My son attends the Thornhill branch of GLM and is thriving. The nurturing environment they provide is second to none, making him feel safe, loved, and excited to learn every day. The teachers are highly engaged and support his individual growth. He loves the regular music classes with Mrs Lee and gym time with Mr Kevin. It’s been a wonderful experience, and I’m so grateful for the care and attention they give to my child. Highly recommend!

Great Lakes Montessori has been incredible for my two kids. Their communication and math skills have improved so much since they started. The teachers are amazing, and you can tell they care about each child's development. Highly recommend it for any parent looking for a supportive and engaging learning environment!
