Menu was super tasty and worth the visit. Every dish felt thoughtfully prepared, with rich flavors that really stood out. The overall vibe of the place added to the experience—good energy, warm atmosphere, and a setting that makes you want to linger a little longer.
Great experience overall! Party of 2 arrived at 4:00 pm on a Saturday and was seated promptly. Really impressed with the food quality: calamari tasted fresh and the mushroom lasagna I got was packed with mushroom and rich with the béchamel. The broccolini was cooked perfect, tho the seasoning could be bit more exciting.
Plus, you can browse the shop attached to the restaurant for more treats after your meal, you know, for later ;)
Honestly of the best Italian food experience I had in the city, will be coming back!
At first, I wasn’t happy with the table we were shown to, but our server, Mahmut, handled everything so kindly and professionally. He even helped us move to a better spot, which must have been a bit of a hassle, but he did it with such a great attitude that it really made my day. The food was absolutely delicious, and the gelato for dessert was amazing too! You definitely won’t be disappointed if you come here.
We stopped by Eataly Don Mills for lunch and ordered two pizzas and a pasta for our kid. The pizzas were fresh and tasty with good ingredients, though the portions felt a little small for the price. The kid’s pasta was simple but well done, and they enjoyed it without any complaints. However, sara offered us some grated cheese which made the pasta super tasty.
The atmosphere is bright and modern, with that mix of restaurant and Italian market that Eataly is known for. It’s nice to be able to eat and then walk around to browse their products.
Service was good and our server, Sara, was very friendly and attentive, which made the experience better. Things did move a bit slowly at times, but it wasn’t a big issue.
Overall, it’s a nice spot for a casual Italian meal in Don Mills, especially if you enjoy the Eataly vibe.
Just know the prices lean more toward the brand and ambiance than portion size.
Very rarely do I give a restaurant 5 stars, but I can’t deny good food and great service which are increasingly hard to come by in the Toronto restaurant scene. I must note the waitress’s professionalism in observing that when a customer closes their menu, they are ready to order, rather than the usual five second badgering I’ve grown used to.
The pasta had that distinct handmade texture and taste, and I could truly taste the dough. The meatballs carried a homemade charm, where every bite had a new burst of flavor rather than the bland freezer taste many places serve. I hope this establishment maintains both its quality and pricing until my next visit.
