The service was friendly and fast. No wait for a table and less than 10 minutes wait for the food! The veggies hakka noodles were delicious. Lunch special came with a large spring roll and water. The price was low and the atmosphere was comfortable.
10/10 had the General Tao, fried rice and steamed rice; also had the wings, veg fried rice and side of stir fried veg. Hits the spot! 🫠 Perfectly seasoned. Came out piping hot.
No extra soy sauce needed. I could eat the fried rice on its own and the steamed rice too. It was nice and fluffy.
And the staff is very friendly and welcoming!
Shareable portions- the picture is after I ate ate my fill (for reference)
Wow. One of the best Hakka experiences in GTA ... period. Very clean place and professional people. Tasty food, generous portions and great price.
We ordered many dishes but Lemon Chicken outclassed others. I am excited because there is so much more to try. The chicken corn soup was just perfect. Not too starchy or heavy. Takeout is recommended even though they have a nice sitting area. I have noticed many people order and eat in their cars outside. I like how easy they made the menu. So far, this has become my favorite Hakka place.
This place truly hits the spot and brings back so many happy memories. Everything about it feels so warm and welcoming, it's like a big hug! The food is absolutely delicious, bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. It's clear that the chef puts a lot of love into every single dish. The whole atmosphere has a lovely homely vibe that makes you want to stay and relax. Honestly, I can't recommend it enough if you want a taste of comfort food and good times.
The service is the best here. You also have deals, if your overall bill is above $60 they offer free chicken fried rice etc. The quantity is also good. Coming to taste it was good keeping it authentic but if you are craving for too many spices it is not for you. One small disappointment was their Bombay chicken in which I felt more layering of maida than chicken. Overall very good experience and on top of it they claim to be halal certified.
