Queen's Frame Gallery

I’ve known the gentleman at Queen’s Frames Gallery for quite some time, and he has always done a wonderful job. The other day, I brought him a rather unusual request: I needed to take an Egyptian papyrus artwork out of its large frame so I could bring it with me to France on the airplane.

Before coming here, I went to another framing shop nearby, but the person there suggested breaking the glass to remove the artwork—which, of course, I refused. It was unsafe and would have ruined my papyrus. So I left and went straight to Queen’s Frames Gallery, where I should have gone in the first place.

At first, the owner hesitated because it was a very delicate and challenging task, but he kindly accepted it. With incredible patience and skill, he spent a long time working carefully—using a razor blade to detach the papyrus that had been taped along every edge of the glass. Thanks to his precision and expertise, he managed to remove it completely without any damage at all.

It was truly an impressive job, and I cannot put a price on the amount of care and craftsmanship he put into it. I am deeply grateful and wanted to share this experience publicly.

Danny is the best framer I've ever worked with having framed up the majority of my band posters. Just when I think I have the right frame/matte combination he shows me 3 more options that are also great. I usually end up going with whatever he recommends, but appreciate the extra time and effort that goes into making it just right...especially when I'm asking for split mattes, embedded black light, etc. Highly recommend!

What a great experience I had here! I called to see if I could buy some pieces of non-glare glass. Someone answered right away and I was able to place the order over the phone. Other frames places I called never got back to me. It was ready in a couple days. When I went the service was excellent. Whomever helped me was friendly, kind and thorough. I wanted another piece of non-glare glass and I he cut it for me right away on the spot. I couldn't be happier! This is the third frame store I've gone to in the past few months and this was by far the best experience I've had.
