John Anderson's Hamburgers

I have a few things to say about this place. The homeburger and homecheeseburger were phenomenal. I’ve had homeburgers at other similar establishments around Toronto that were delicious in their own right but doesn’t hold a candle to the texture and flavour of these ones.

They have a relatively small shop and had 5 experienced staffs on deck on that rainy Saturday afternoon so service was prompt and delightfully cheerful among themselves and the customers. The cashier didn’t bat an eye taking order from my kid and explained what was asked - fantastic attentive service was provided.

If you’re deciding on a place to eat, visit this place. It beats places like Five Guys and definitely beats Burger Priest in my opinion 🙂

There’s no tables, the family in there before us improvised the clean window ledge for a table and sat on the ~6’x2’ benchs

Came here for a late lunch on October 25, 2025. The burgers were fresh and delicious. Started eating it in the parking lot and walked back in just to say “this is delicious”. Service was amazing so friendly. I ordered a double cheeseburger. Picture doesn’t do justice.

I wanted to take a moment to share my experience with the incredible food we ordered from John Anderson for our recent school function.

The meal was nothing short of amazing! Each dish showcased Greek flavors, and I must say, it was probably the best Greek food I have ever tasted. The portions were incredibly generous, which was perfect for our gathering.

Additionally, I would like to highlight how friendly and accommodating Tom, the owner, was throughout the process. His warm demeanor made our experience even more enjoyable.

I highly recommend John Anderson for any event or gathering. You won't be disappointed!

Fist time customer, and I’m blown away! The service was welcoming, the place is clean and most importantly, the burgers are fresh and delicious! Perhaps one of the best in the country 👌 I’m not in the area often but I will be a return customer ❤️

Loved this place! The chef and staff are super friendly and funny - they really make you feel welcome. And the burger? Mouthwatering, fresh and juicy. 10/10

PS: Maple leafs fans will love this place :)
