Lawrence Gomes is my employment consultant. I'm deeply thankful for his guidance and support for my job search in this very tough job market. He has helped me refine my resume, recommended me to register for online courses and programs, such as the JITA program at NPower Canada, to refine my skills and education, and encouraged me to apply for job posts, workshops, and job fairs that align with my current set of skills. The practice firm offers a warm and supportive environment where jobseekers like us coming from different backgrounds can build real skills for meaningful employment. Through the 8-week program, we gained hands-on experience in administration, accounting, marketing, and Canadian workplace culture, while also learning how to work with people and adapt to different workplace environments, and forming valuable professional connections.

I am truly grateful to my employment counsellor, Ms. Hazelann, for her continuous encouragement and prompt support. As soon as she learned that a position in the ECA course became available, she reached out to me right away to make sure I didn’t miss the opportunity to apply.
