Store is very clean.
5 cashiers were open. No big lineups at checkout.
Del Monte Cream Style Corn 398 ml for only 88 cents each, limit of 2 per person is a great buy.
From an Ultramart way back more than 25 yrs ago to what is now part of the Foody chain of Asian groceries, it represents the diversity of the Bamburgh circle neighbourhood well. Has a prepared foods section on the right when you first walk in to pretty good quality fruits and veggies on the far left. Has a distinct wet seafood market at the back that even has geoduck clams which isn't seen I many places. Not the cheapest for snacks like broad beans, peanuts and the like. Nice Chinese new year decorations though, very festive.
Foody Mart is a solid alternative to T&T, offering a wide variety of Asian groceries at competitive prices. One of its biggest strengths is its extensive selection—you’ll often find items here that T&T doesn’t carry, especially when it comes to regional Chinese ingredients, specialty snacks, and fresh produce. The store layout can feel a bit more packed and chaotic compared to T&T, but it’s a trade-off for the sheer range of products available.
Their fresh seafood and meat sections are well-stocked, and prices tend to be slightly lower than T&T. However, the overall shopping experience might not be as polished—self-checkout options are limited, and customer service can sometimes be hit-or-miss. That said, if you’re looking for variety and value, Foody Mart is a great choice, especially for those who love to explore different Asian cuisines beyond the mainstream selection.
Chinese supermarket with affordable prices. I've been coming here for grocery shopping for a few years. They have cooked food options, BBQ meat, and a cosmetics shop inside. They sell lottery tickets as well. There are lots of restaurants in this plaza, including Sam Woo, McDonald's, Pho, Korean, etc.
Convenient grocery store catering to surrounding neighborhood. Has all the standards of a large Asian supermarket: BBQ, Makeup section, Hot table, pastries, live seafood. It's a notch below the T&T experience so I cannot give it the 5 stars. Japanese candy / snack section is solid.
