Blackhorn Steakhouse

1st thing before I start, the food was quite good, we all enjoyed our meal.
Now the issues. The atmosphere is old and in need of an overhaul. Because of the table layout the environment is quite loud. The restaurant was very busy, a testament to the food.
Our first interaction with staff was poor, the waitress did not listen to what she was being told and just walked us to a table.
Our actual server (he was very good) arrived and we ordered our drinks and appetizers. As.we were sipping our drinks, the original waitress came over and said we had to switch tables, some regular customers were celebrating a birthday and requested our table.
I explained that we too were celebrating a birthday but that meant nothing to her. We moved only because it was my mother's birthday and I did not want to ruin it with an argument.
As we ate our dinner we watched 3 tables have a slice of cake brought to the tables celebrating birthday's. After dinner we were offered a desert menu, not a slice of cake for my moms 76th birthday. When I made the reservation, in the additional information section I specified my mom's 76th birthday. But the woman was in such a rush to seat us and did not listen to what we were saying that the whole occasion got missed.
We will not be back due to the terrible service by one person, she kind of ruined the birthday dinner. Thank you for that.
Save your time and money and go somewhere else.

Came with my mom around 6pm on a Thursday and had a wonderful experience. Place wasn't busy and very accessible for my mom who walks with a cane. Tables and decor give off a nice vibe it's very warm and inviting. We both got the specials which were 10/10, pork medallions and steak with peppercorn sauce. Garlic bread is a must have.

Great food. Steaks were well cooked and definitely one of the best I’ve ever eaten at a restaurant (better new york striploin than the keg imo). Owner was kind and greeted my family. Overall, despite the new ownership, Blackhorn has the same great food and service as always. My only complaint is that I would have liked a larger portion of the sides.

I went to celebrate my wife’s bd with the family, absolutely fantastic experience! The food was flavorful, fresh, and beautifully presented — every dish we tried was a hit. The service was attentive and friendly without being overbearing, thanks Alexia. On top of that, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, perfect for a relaxed evening out. You can tell they really care about both the food and the customer experience. Highly recommend and can’t wait to come back!

Place doesn't look like much when you pull up in front but the food was very good and the service was excellent. The garlic bread was tasty, grilled calamari was pretty good as an appetizer. Side salads were decent size plus the main courses of steak with shrimp and lamb chops excellent and not insanely over priced. One of the better meals had in this area.
