The worst experience with the teller.
The guy was a trainee who asked for documents which were not updated in 8 years .He kept asking for foreign passport and when i gave him ,he said it was not acceptable because it was not issued by canada so i asked if he wanted a canadian passport .He just made up his mind not to help me .The guy needed serious training and people skills .He kept asking me to go away to the government .He also kept asking for a Social Insurance Card. i never got one from service canada and i told him they discontinued it and he just wouldn't help me .
Finally the manager stepped in and said that a canadian passport is acceptable .She also updated all the documents and information It took some time but she was helpful and knowledgeable.
I let her know about my concern with the trainee.
I mean i understand if one is new and does not know everything but he could have asked the manager for advice to help me .He just asked me to leave and wouldn't help me.
I expect the manager will follow up with this complaint .
