Kathir is very good with his Nadhaswaram, he came all the way to USA for my son's wedding and did a great job.

I got a chance and privilege to play as a joint Thavil artist with Mr. Kathirkaman on Thavil and with Mr. Natarajan on Nadaswaram.
This was in New Jersey for a wedding in April 2025 and it is my pleasure to give this review. Not only as professionals with their
instruments (both on Thavil and Nadaswaram), the best qualities attracted me are their understanding and yield to the event and occasions.
Thavil play which perfectly matched with Nadaswaram. From Hamsadwani to Mohanakalyani to Jayanthashri
to few rare ragas also with alapana the way they played and accompanied impressed me. I would strongly recommend their team for any auspiciousoccasions.

Kathirgamanathan Suntharamoorthy (Kathir) played Thavil at my brother’s wedding in New Jersey. He is an excellent, professional, and humble musician. He plays with upper-level layam, thalam, and variations that blend superbly with the Nadhaswaram. He is very accommodating and easy to work with, and he can arrange other music entertainment services for your event.
I was also pleasantly surprised that my Aunt and Uncle retained Kathir’s services again to play Thavil for my cousin’s wedding alongside Nadhaswaram, in NJ/NY. He was just as excellent there. He is based in Canada has performed all over the US, Canada, and abroad.
We highly recommend Kathir and his musical organization as a whole for any Indian classical music, fusion music, wedding (including traditional Nadhaswaram and Thavil, film songs, etc) or other needs for your event. Being from Canada is also a huge benefit - as his next-level entertainment services are easily accessible to those in the US.
