Beautiful place, a hidden Gem. Great place to bring a date. Not a lot of seats, nice vibes, playing Tripreggae ( so cool) Beautiful selection of Sake. Beautiful presentation. Two things, The soup base of the lobster curry noodle was too sweet, it was like a cup of sugar was added. It really was bizarre. Also we felt locationally the prices were way too high. If this place was in Toronto and had a bit more seating and staff the price would be right, but the dishes came out 5-10 minutes apart person to person.
This place was phenomenal, the food and service was excellent. I came here with my dad, we had the chefs choice of sashimi, chef special bento box, salmon bowl, and the chocolate soufflé.
Every part of the experience was delicious, there was not one thing that we were disappointed by. Everything had so much flavour and was thought through. I truly loved it, service was great, the hostess was nice.
I’d come here again and highly recommend to anyone curious! (Unfortunately I only have this picture)
A small old Japanese restaurant in Scarborough. I tried $250 tasting menu + sake. Waygu is good, and the rest are just ok.
I need to make a reservation for omakase, but actually I am the only one for the dinner.
As others have said, this spot is a wonderful hidden gem in Scarborough. Very kind and attentive staff, and great sushi. I’d love to come back, sit at the counter, and have the chef recommend some of their favourites!
Came here for dinner with a couple girlfriends based on a recommendation we made a reservation however, when we walked in, it definitely wasn’t needed as we were the only other clients
Pretty simple decorations the service was nice. We were greeted right away. We ordered a few dishes to share. Little bit of everything I will say the seafood is fresh. However, it seemed that everything was just OK flavour wise - nothing was outstanding. The desserts something we couldn’t finish just because they didn’t hit our pallet the way we thought it was going to.
Overall, it was a mid experience not something I would crave.
