Milliken Medical Centre

Had my new patient exam at this clinic today with Dr.Hussain. To my surprise Dr. Leung was doing the initial intake. She listened to my concerns, offered me advice, prescribed a medication when appropriate and sent the necessary referrals. Afterwards she presented my case to Dr.Hussain, very pleased with the professionalism from both Dr Hussain and Dr Leung.

It's a doctor's office and its always busy and no walk in only by appointments and it's pretty busy plus there have lab that's why i like this place plus my family doctor is in this same medical plaza.

Would love to give them 5 stars,for some of the doctors there are awesome! Been a patient at the clinic for past almost 35years, almost from its inception...
However, as of recent while sadly always feel frustrated trying to get in touch, when we call to make appointments. Last week for instance, and it has happened once before, was put on automated hold whereabouts it said wait time is approximately 5 minutes, about 20 minutes later, while still on hod, the line got disconnected...
And many a times have had very rude responses from certain staff members over the phone. Yes we understand you could be busy, but then you do have enough staff, and people that call are many a times in a lot of distress, need some empathy, it's the people that are sick, and need to be attended to that call, not people that youre doing a big favour to by talking to them.... At least some consideration to that is deserved. Why are most of the staff angry or tired all the time?! 🤔
Sincerely hope to see the old smiling faces and polite staff at that front...

In the last year I've had the need to see my doctor more than usual and I must say Dr. Basel Bari has been great, he is a doctor that cares. I have been able to get a callback within a short and satisfactory timeframe. He listens and discuss the issue and offer options and opinion always leaving me is a position to make an informed decision if needed.
The Milliken Medical Centre houses multiple doctors so it can get busy so I understand having to wait on hold when I call.
