I decided to get something for my friend’s baby shower at this store. Both Suzana and Bibi from the bakery department, helped me get some Portuguese tarts. And they decorated the tarts with a message for the baby girl as well as some other small touches. It meant a lot to me, and their efforts were a major hit. Definitely recommend!!
Drove 1.5 hrs to get rye bread that is absolutely the best. Harsh was very helpful in the bakery. He let me know I went to the wrong Markham store...opps...totally my fault. Harsh was so helpful, he baked 4 loaves and had everything ready in 15 minutes. I am so thankful!
Definitely is the “longo” way home, but I do prefer the high-quality meats here! Prices are higher than your average supermarket, but the fruits and produce are fresher. You can even ask for samples of the fruits before buying, but I was told by friends that they don’t always accommodate … Plenty of parking, but weekends is quite busy as this location is within several plazas. I like that they have a Star Bucks inside as well.
