I used to go to see Dr. Gretsinger from 1999 to about 2014. 1999 I was in Grade 8 and started going there with my mom and sisters. 2014 my ex-husband and I I think we're going to Taiwan. Dr. Gretsinger has been a good doctor though you have to wait up to 2 hours for an appointment (so annoying!). I can no longer get there myself due to brain surgery and a stroke causing part of my memory to be lost. So I usually go to walk-in clinics for small things and to Toronto Western for brain related stuff.
Dr Gretsinger is an amazing Dr. She is thorough and focuses her undivided attention to the patient in front of her.
I am also really pleased with her receptionist, Phylis who always goes above and beyond to assist with booking appointments or helping out with administrative questions. She always tries her best to assist. Me and my family couldn’t be happier with all the service we receive here.
The receptionist PHYLIS has ZERO customer service!!!
My doctor is Dr. Gretsinger, she is wonderful. But this review is based off the customer service.
I had an appointment for June 6 at 5:45, when I showed up there was no one there, and the doors were locked. I called 3 times and left a voicemail. June 7, I received a call from Phylis, I do not believe she listened to the voicemail because she would have known of my situation and hopefully would have been more genuine. However, I explained the situation that someone booked me in for June 6 etc. She said 'Oh no, that couldn't be possible as Dr. Gretsinger only works till 3 on Thursdays". I mentioned that, that has nothing to do with me and whoever booked my appointment told me the 6 as I had wrote it down to remember. She mentioned 2 different time slots next week that she could give me, but that didnt align with my schedule. She then said she has the following week. I asked if she could squeeze me in for next week (that works with my time) cause now its an inconvenience to me (to wait an additional two weeks). She told me she is not going to argue with me, and advise me of what my new appt date is and hung up on the phone.
I called back, and she said how I was being rude, when in actuality it was her, and the disrespect of her hanging up the phone. I told her I do not like you guys in reference to the lack of professionalism and organisation from front desk as this is not the first or second time i've been inconvenience due to their lack of attention to detail. she then said 'Why do you come here' She also informed me on this second call that Alma booked me in; therefore, showing that it was an error on their end. She provided no apology and came with an 'it is what it is' attitude.
This office needs to hire customer service oriented receptionist because prior to phylis there was another lady there with same nasty attitude.
