Nice addition of kids playground ! Kudos to city of Toronto for adding those facilities for the kids and young families in this neighborhoods
Good slides, swings and small walk area..
For me it was just sheer memories! I met my first wife there 30 odd years ago. We spent time together in that Park When We Were Young! He used to live just up the street from that Park we would go there and spend time together. It's changed a bit over the last 35 years but the memories haven't! It's clean and well groomed I spent 20 minutes there there must have been 15 kids in and out of that Park during that time great family atmosphere.
Wood chip protected playground, with a unique climbing structure which my daughter loved. Also has swings and slides. Big grassy area with large trees and nice shade. Other end of the park has a baseball diamond.
Brought two five year olds to this park by chance this past Saturday. Havendale Park is a treasure tugged away in a residential area. The two kids thoroughly enjoyed this park, particularly the climbing dome.
The only thing we would add to it is some shades, not necessarily trees, from the scorching sun.
We will definitely go there again when we are in Toronto!!!
