Elson Park

A beautiful and peaceful park to relax, watch around and listen to the sounds of nature. First time been there with my mentee and she loved everything about the park from the swing, slide and pathways. Watching snowfall was an amazing experience to me. Thank you:)

One of the good 😊 place for picnic and outdoor sports 🏀 No doubt , they have proper soccer field and we go there to play cricket in the baseball ⚾️ field, kids has lot of things to do there

Yes, there's a new metal bench laid out on the side of the ground. A long one with more seating, replaced the rustic wooden one. Full of fall colors at this point in autumn month.

Been going here for as long as I can remember, easily 100+ times. Its a nice park recently repainted + updated the playground. The pathway is gravel, not the greatest to walk on or bike on especially when wet. The field and baseball diamond are not bad.

The overall location and landscape is quite nice as well, with a forest backing , hills for winter tobogganing, lots of trees. Especially beautiful in the autumn and winter.

Town of Markham, you moved the basketball net to the other side of the basketball court, great because balls do not get lost in the forest. However you lowered the net by 2 feet, and it is not 8 feet off the ground, this is not a normal basketball net anymore, and no one wants to play here anymore, you ruined it.
