Just moved into a dream of an apartment at 17 Brookbanks Drive.
Open concept layout that actually has storage space in the kitchen. The rooms are a good size, with lovely closet space. Our unit is clean and spacious, with views from each window like a picture postcard. So much natural light.
Overall the building itself is very very clean. Security for the building is A+. The lobby has a very homely feel to it. The amenities included are excellent. The Gym is very user friendly and clean, it also has a water bottle refill station, the equipment are well spaced and has instructions if needed. There is also a community/lounge room with a kitchen, ample seating with a television, outdoor access to a patio and bbq, and access to a very beautiful trail.
The building is centrally located to various shops, restaurants, and parks at a short drive or lovely stroll. Public transportation is right outside the building for easy access if needed.
All my interactions with the building staff has been very positive. They are friendly and very approachable. Their responsiveness to maintenance requests or their helpfulness with any issues I may have had, has been very professional and swift.
We are really enjoying living in this building, and we love our apartment. The parking is well lit and clean. The on-site staff are fantastic, friendly and so helpful. There were a few things we needed looked at when we moved in, we mentioned it, and it was looked at within 2 days (with notice of entry)
Did I mention the full size washer and dryer? Icing on the cake. It only washes with cold water, but not a deal breaker.
UPDATE**** seems the hot water hose was pinched behind the washer. So guess who can now wash with hot water if needed. It was fixed almost immediately of my mentioning it.
The extra car park charge for tenants is a ripoff
Well managed Condo, friendly Neighbours. Largely dog friendly. Great location backing on ravine and creek. Close to DVP and York Mills
Great place to live. Great management company!
