Pete is an incredible and knowledgeable instructor who inspires respect while teaching. Kids learn their motor skills, coordination, and confidence in a fun, age-appropriate way that’s both challenging and engaging.
This is the best Muay Thai gym near my house. My son and friends all come here. Pete is the best instructor!
Coach Pete and his family hosted a party for my son’s 7th birthday with 12 party guests and it was the most stress free party for us. Coach Pete tailored the party games according to my son’s How to Train Your Dragon theme, and even had balloon swords ready for our little Vikings practice their skills to become dragon riders. My son said it was the “best party ever”. The kids had so much fun - Coach Pete and the other coaches made sure the kids were engaged and included throughout the party. Their schedule run down for the party was fantastic, with lots of physical activity, a bit of snack time and cake, followed by more games afterwards to help the kids let out lots of energy! Love this new location as there’s more space so parents can hang out and watch the kids have a blast.
Thanks so much to Coach Pete and Valour Martial Arts for hosting our party! Highly recommended.
I have been coming to the adult Muay Thai classes at Valour Martial Arts for around 5 months now. Before choosing this gym I looked around in the area, did my research, and Valour came out on top. I was skeptical at first because it is always difficult to trust a flawless rating of 5 stars but Valour really earned that title.
Before even coming to the gym physically, I contacted them through email asking about programs, prices, recommendations for beginners such as myself, etc. Coach Pete replied and answered all my questions and mentioned that a "free trial week" is offered so I thought I'll make the best of it and start as soon as I can.
When I entered the gym, one thing that stood out to me was that unlike other martial arts gyms that I had been to, this one was very organized and neat. Everything has its own place, every equipment is wiped down after use, and the place is overall very well maintained. When you enter, there is a reception area, a sitting area, and a ring for sparring. After a small walk, you enter on to the mat area and two big shelves full of pads, mits, and gloves. And at the absolute end, the heavy bags and workout equipment as well as the bathrooms and change rooms.
Pete is an amazing coach, it is clear he is experienced and has extensive knowledge and skill on martial arts. He made me feel very welcome as a beginner and was very patient with me. I've had a lot of improvement in my time here thanks to him.
I realized there arent too many pictures of the new location so I shared a few of the ones I had.
Thanks to Pete and to the Valour team!
We signed our 5yo daughter for a week of summer camp at Valour and she had the best time. Coach Pete is very patient and has a way to keep kids engaged! We loved the fact that Coach Pete helped teach our daughter self discipline, courage and to be more confident. The camp was well organized and even had a few surprises for the kids! The facility is conveniently located with ample parking and is close to a park. We will definitely be back!
