Our new minister engages with the children and adults with remarkable enthusiasm! We often share laughter during the service as we follow the stories the minister relates. Coffee hour after the service is friendly. Come and experience UPC with us!

This church has a great family feel to it with people of varying ages attending. There are Sunday school groups for young elementary as well as older youth group. Summer services tend to be lower attendance as many are on holidays.
There are many activities outside of Sunday worship service - adult fellowship of games nights, serving dinner at Evangel Hall downtown, book clubs, take a break, and bible study groups. The children have outside activities with a game day before summer break, fall party, Halloween party, Christmas pageant, Easter bake sale.
After Sunday services there is coffee and treats served where we get to know visitors, catch up with friends, and sometimes it is at this time we can understand when people need might need extra fellowship time.

I went to UPC during their summer hour, not very crowd. May be I was a young stranger who did not know anyone, I found it very difficult to introduce myself to people surrounding me. The usher gave me the worship service bulletin with no smile. I greeted with others with a gentle nod, but people pretended that they did not see me. I was sitting at the back and saw that people were relating to their own friends and folks. I liked hymn based worship. In fact the hymns we sang were written in the modern time say 70s-80s. I enjoyed them very much - simple and in harmony. At the end, I feel sad that nobody knew who I was and I just quietly sneaked out from the side door.
