Cash only… thats what it said on the flyers inside but nothing outside the store said that… not even anywhere online …. so strictly no cards or interact allowed… 🥲 had to fetch some cash from a 5mins away ATM after denying me of card&et.
The Khaman and Dhokla were great as always! However, we tried the petish and they were quite disappointing. The outer layer was too thick, there was a noticeable smell of oil, and the stuffing was tasteless. They didn’t seem fresh — more like they were from the previous day. I wouldn’t recommend the petish at all.
Detailed and Long review 🔥👍
Sai Lila is cash only store! Bring cash from home 😅.
Gujju Uncle is so kind and helpful, whenever I go with my kid he gives chocolate or some sweet to him. Also provided suggestions if there is something new in the kitchen.
Food quality is good, We like gathiya and specil Papya chin ( sambaro), Being rajkotian we need that as sider.
⚠️ check the product, occasionally they are giving less fresh food... I have visited almost 10 times, only one time I found poor quality. So just an advice to check the product before they put in the polythene beg.( A visual check is enough 🙂)
Store timing is bit odd so plan accordingly.
Not tables on sitting arrangements so takeaway only or park your car and eat. Also, Near by many Indian stores and food shop so try all to gether. (As a food lover tip)
Delicious Khaman and dhokla! Worth giving it a try. Pure vegetarian.
Other Gujarati snacks and sweets available.
CASH ONLY!
No place to dine-in. Open your car trunk and enjoy it there!
Service is good.
Heads up for those who don’t want to stick till the end, *CASH ONLY*
It came highly recommended from fellow Gujarati colleagues. However a trip was pending due to various reasons. It’s a small hole in the wall takeout place. The place is stacked wall to wall with Gujarati snacks and a variety of Farsan. Take your pick. We got half pound khamani and half pound sandwich khaman and hariyali khaman. Hands down the best Khaman I have had in the GTA. If you have a spice tolerance then the sandwich is recommended otherwise stick to hariyali or the regular.
It came to 12.68 for the whole thing which is quiet well priced for what would be a filling breakfast for two.
