My family and I stayed there recently for 2 nights in 2 separate rooms. We booked in advance, we were expecting to have rooms next to each other. Initially we were on the same floor but one of the rooms bed sheets were dirty so they had to change our room to one floor up. The staff at the front desk are doing a good job and they're helpful. Parking is included which is a bonus but there's no breakfast. It's decently priced for it's use.
I had a great stay at the Residence & Conference Centre. I did request to be on the second floor since I’d heard the air conditioning wasn’t as reliable on higher levels (summer time), and the staff was very accommodating and friendly in helping with that. The suite itself was spacious, especially for just one person, and the AC worked perfectly throughout my stay.
The location is very convenient—right next to the highway, which made commuting to and from work very easy. There are several supermarkets nearby especially by car, plus a mall and several parks, which made life outside of work really enjoyable. The parking lot always had lots of available spaces, which was another plus.
Inside, everything was clean and comfortable—no issues like bed bugs, which gave me peace of mind. The building also had some practical amenities: the stove was on the first floor (not sure if others were located on higher floors), recycling was outside, and garbage chutes were at the ends of each floor.
Overall, I’d definitely recommend this location to anyone looking for a convenient, comfortable and reasonably-priced place to stay.
Me and my friend stayed here and thought it was going to be a bad hotel, but it turned out way better than expected. The place felt kind of like a college dorm—comfortable and chill. The staff were super helpful and friendly, and having a Subway right downstairs was perfect. For the price, I couldn’t be happier. Definitely a great stay!
PROS: The room was spacious. There were 2 bedrooms and a kitchen. Overall, the rooms were also clean and had all the b basic amenities.
CONS: This should not be a hotel. The facility is a dorm room, and on our floor, it seemed that we were the only hotel guests. The floor was made up of boys ages around 10-16. A few of them made comments to my sister which made her feel uncomfortable. I don't necessarily blame the boys, but I was more just shocked that they could even offer a place like this as a hotel. There was also no AC while we were there, and it was very loud.
It's a student dorm hotel alternative during the summer months. It was exactly as advertised so there were no surprises.
I think people should be aware it's a double full bed as I witnessed a couple complain about it even though it was stated on the website.
Front desk is sometimes hit or miss. Most of them are good. A few were a bit lost. They might be new!
Overall was a good stay and pretty cheap compared to actual hotels. I would stay here again.
