Local spot that has had great promos since it opened: $1 lamb skewers and $13.99 buy one get one rice bowl (has to be the same rice bowl, cannot mix and match).

Several tables got the big pots of beef brisket for sharing which looked fun and enormous but so far I've only had the noodles, rice bowls and skewers.

All have been pretty respectable. Skewers might have a bit less meat than other places but it's $1/lamb skewer so it's hard to complain.

I got the braised pork on rice (two portions for $13.99!). Meat was plenty flavourful and fatty. Sauce was delicious. The carb/protein balance is a bit off but that can be addressed with the aforementioned lamb skewers. The double portion (plus lamb skewers) should satisfy most big appetites!

The crab roe fried rice was also an option and others at the table reported that it was alright - not too much crab flavour.

A true 4 because their promos seem to be evergreen.

    LEGEND:
A true 5: I'd go out of my way to come - even at regular price. I'd bring a friend, guarantee they'll enjoy it or it's my treat.

A true 4: I'd come back at regular price, especially if it's nearby - OR I'd drive far for a promo/special here.

A true 3: I'd only come back on some sort of promo or special OR if it's really convenient (ex. I'm craving this cuisine and happen to be in the plaza).

A true 2 means I'd come back if it was someone else's 5 (they insist on taking me, and if I don't like it, their treat).

    A true 1 means I wouldn't come back.

    Great food, flavours and service
Opens late, 10% off cash payments
    Last call at 1:30am

Came at midnight seeing that they close at 2am. Turns out they were just starting their new extended hours and late night menu.

Unfortunately I wasn't able to try any of the stone pot dishes at this late hour as they were unavailable however, we got to try their $1/ lamb skewers promo, a bowl of noodles and cold dishes.
Their chili oil/ paste was also fabulous.

All the flavours were wonderful and the meat was fresh. The server was super sweet and polite.

I'd like to come back to try their lunch and regular menu for sure.

The only 2 good things about my meal was the price and the beef noodles, everything else was meh. Veg was overcooked and lost its crisp, rice was meatless and lack flavor, both had close to 0 aroma that u get from eating 煲 dishes. Tofu dish was also disappointing. I would definitely go back for the beef noodles tho.

I had been meaning to go to this restaurant and had it on my must-visit list for a couple of years and finally had a chance to go check it out. Let's get the obvious out of the way, their pots are not cheap. The brisket and tendon pot was $58 and each add-on of veg, tofu or meat are $4 so the price can add up quickly. However, I believe it's still a good value for the money paid because the portion is quite large. Some of the pots also have half sizes for smaller groups. And they do give a lot of meat and beansprouts in our pot. The taste was pretty good, very beefy and rich. They also have random BOGO deals for some rice dishes like the egg/meat combination one we got for a very affordable $14 (for 2 good portions). The staff was SUPER helpful and attentive. Most speak Chinese but our server also spoke fluent English. I highly recommend and will be returning to check out the other options as they have many dishes to try.

The environment is spacious and bright, with a wide variety of dishes to choose from. The flavors stand out among similar establishments. The four dishes I ordered each had unique flavors, and the portions were generous. I’ll definitely be coming back!
