The work culture and service that’s offered here is rare to find: the staff will be honest, but respectful towards your car needs.

Almost every other customer that I saw while I was in the waiting area was called by name, greeted and treated personably, and even occasionally directed to collaborating-not competing*, there’s a difference-businesses in the area.

The price will be just a bit above average, but it’s definitely better than having to risk coming back after a cheaper job from someplace else! The skilled work in the back while conversations and coffee in the front will be worth the time too.

I highly recommend this place. I had a flat on my tire and was quite a distance from home. Everyone made the process feel so easy from calling in to leaving the shop. The guys here are friendly and knowledgeable and if you’re ever in the area Master Mechanic Markham is the place to go!

I recently visited Master Mechanic in Markham (on Amber St.) for a car health inspection, and I am very impressed with the service I received. It's been a while since I took my car to a shop, so I was expecting a lot of upsell.

The team conducted a thorough inspection and clearly outlined two issues: my rear brake pads were nearly worn out, and my engine air filter needed replacing. They assured me that the rear brakes would still be safe for about another month, which gave me peace of mind and showed they weren’t just trying to upsell unnecessary repairs.

I appreciated their honesty and transparency. I was able to replace the engine filter myself and returned a week later to have the rear brakes replaced. Both visits were met with professionalism. The staff were knowledgeable, polite, and respectful of both my time and my vehicle.

I fully intend to return to this Master Mechanic location for my future car maintenance needs and would gladly recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable and honest mechanic.

Incredibly friendly service ! Fast and efficient. I had come from ptbo and my car was stalling out because the oil was so low and despite them being basically fully booked up they took me anyway and did an oil change so that I could get home ! Very great group of guys working there 10/10 service
