Lovely looking desserts located in Scarborough! Awesome! I tried the Ham & Cheese..9.1/10 also the Almond Chocolate Croissant 8.5/10..if they heated this up, I'd give it a higher score.
Note: The Dubai Chocolate Croissant sb ordered ahead of time especially during the week. You can take your chances on weekends when some will be available. I went to specifically try that one 😪

A middling food experience that's only worsened by the accompanying service.

At entering the place, you do get a good view of what's in offer. There quite a bit of variety in terms of breaded good and pastries. After a few minutes of dealing with customer, the server got to us. What immediately struck me was the dismissive nature and almost rushing us out of the store. Asking us "is that everything?" after each request felt very odd.

Additionally asking about the panini made one person go to the back and a minute or so, another person said that it'll take time to make it, something that could have been brought up the moment I ordered it??

We got the quiche with goat cheese and peppers, the Kouign Amann, the pain au chocolate and the ham and cheese croissant. The ham and cheese was good, not overpowering the croissant. The quiche was not bad and custardy in the center but did taste a bit under in the middle. The pain au chocolate was flaky but the filling was utterly disappointing. It could have a mini chocolatine with the kind of filling.

Overall, some of the baking is good but not warranting the service you get with it.

If you are looking for a good butter croissant, I mean flaky, but tender and rich, then this is the place for you. Their fresh baked bread (sourdough) is so good! I highly recommend the feta spinach croissant -- it is rich with flavour the cheese and spinach are fresh and compliment so well with the buttery croissant. Really good item for those who love savoury is the Aged Cheddar scone. The cranberry scone is also heavenly. I wanted to try the Dubai chocolate croissant so I will for sure be back. I was having a high tea setup paty at home and the pastries were not only visually appealing but most importantly delicious. Great price for quality. I wish the creme brulee came with the burnt sugar topping🥲 but otherwise everything I tried was fantastic.
