Sean and his partner traced the issue to my dead cooker hood pretty quickly. Turns out it was my poor confusing diy electrical work on a dimmer. Gave some good advice on wiring in general and how I could restore my cooker hood after personally ripping it out.

Exceptional service. Called and Jim did problem solving analysis on phone - suggested I pick up a thermostat before they visited to save a second service call as that seemed a likely solution to my problem. . Sean was very professional, checked power circuit and operation of floor heating loop, installed new thermostat and also corrected shoddy prior work in receptacle box by builder, and checked all was working before he left. He and his partner removed wall picture and matts where they were working for safety, and even vacuumed up after. Most impressive ! Cost for service was very reasonable. JTL is now my “go to” electrician.

Jim , Sean and the the rest of the guys worked for two days in our house and they did everything OUTSTANDING PROFESSIONAL!
First, Jim came to review the job, and he issued a very detailed quotation for what he evaluated that shall to be done. Then, the whole team of 4(four) people worked for two days to do the job. They worked very clean, knowing very well what and how to do each involved step. They took out a built in oven from the existing structure, no damages were done, and they installed the new oven in the same area and they did it perfect paying attention to each detail. Then they removed the old cooktop and installed a new one. they replaced an old "connection box with an electrical panel with breakers (the previous had those old style fuses), Everything was done at perfection.
At the end of the job I was very happy with my choice for JTL and Son. They really did the best possible installation for us. Many thanks!

Great experience with JTL & Son Ltd. I had a variety of small requirements (outdoor motion sensors, indoor fixtures, smoke alarms). Jim was friendly & professional and delivered a detailed quote, including estimations for my next project. When his crew arrived, they were prompt, professional, efficient and cleaned up each area. I haven't received the invoice just yet but was already told that there wouldn't be any surprises compared to the quote. I will definitely reach out to them again in the future, it was a very pleasant experience.

I had a great experience with JTL and Son Ltd. I was having a breaker issue at my home and reached out to them for help. They were able to troubleshoot the problem remotely and provided me with some valuable insight on what might be causing the issue. They then scheduled a time to come out and take a closer look.
