Since new management under (Insert Current Manager here), the inventory has been well stocked, the employees are well informed and communicate all managorial policies with solemn dignity and customer satisfaction in consideration. I've personally seen several situations with disgruntled customers being handled respectfully and offered feasible alternatives without ever escalating the fued over simple discrepancies.
Overall great price matching, friendly service, and amazing stock inventory.
I meet Fizz, he was outstanding. Perfect, his vibe is something else. You leave the place twice more happy than you were.
I had such a great experience at Green Merchant .. The gentleman with the bun and the glasses was friendly and welcoming, super knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely helpful. He took the time to explain the different strains and made recommendations based on what I was looking for. You can tell he really cares about the customer and knows his stuff. The whole process felt easy and comfortable thanks to him. I’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend!!!!
I’ve been coming to Green Merchant since the day they opened, and I’ve never felt the need to leave a review — until now. What happened with one of the new employees (I believe his name is Coner or Connar) was so unacceptable, I can’t stay silent.
His tone was arrogant and completely condescending. He spoke to me like I was a problem instead of a paying customer — no explanation, no professionalism, just straight attitude. It wasn’t a misunderstanding — it was blatant disrespect.
I left feeling angry, embarrassed, and honestly shocked. After all the business I’ve given this location since day one, to be treated like that is infuriating. Whoever hired him seriously needs to reevaluate, because if this is the kind of energy you’re allowing behind the counter, it’s going to drive loyal customers away.
If someone can’t speak to people with basic decency, they shouldn’t be working in customer service. Period. I truly hope management handles this, because I’d hate to stop supporting a place I’ve backed from the very beginning. So shocked they even hired someone like that to begin with.
Update: I’m updating my review as I’ve now had the chance to experience the level of customer service I’ve come to expect from this location. I appreciate that my concerns were acknowledged and addressed, and I’m pleased to see improvements in how customers are treated.
It turns out the issue was a miscommunication, and I want to be fair in reflecting the full picture. I’ve been a customer here since the store first opened, and it’s always been one of my go-to spots in the area. I’m glad a resolution was reached and that the service has returned to the standard I know and appreciate.
This is by far my favourite location! Everyone is extremely helpful and knowledgeable, super kind and welcoming! I look forward to my visit every week! Special thanks to Sophia, Cris, Connor and Ryan (the whole team, really!) for holding The Green Merchant to the highest standard!
