My hubby and I worshipped at Ephesus SDA church for the first time. We had a pleasant worship experience! Pastor Ewan was very personable. He delivered a reflective sermon entitled "Eternal Vacation." He delivered message about Jesus' second coming which is Usually painted quite morbid and frightening but pastor Ewan made it light and humorous. A well needed message which was well received and well delivered !!
I spent time thinking of which Seventh-Day Adventist Church to attend to end the year 2023.
As usual, I went to Google to search for SDA Church close to me, three surfaced and for reason of close proximity, I chose Ephesus Seventh-Day Adventist Church. It is located at 23 Gage Ave, Scarborough, ON.
As a First timer to the church I was warmly welcome, and immediately got a beautiful unique coloured pen and a nice hug. I was immediately invited to lunch after service and then ushered to my seat as the church was already in service.
If you love solemn worship, chorale with piano playing at the background, this will be a good church for such guest.
I enjoyed the music, the sermon and the welcoming members, with few minutes spent with the church Pastor, it was obvious why the church was very receptive and welcoming to guests and visitors.
Everyone made me feel very much at home even as one who's at the church for the very first time. Worshiping here was a beautiful experience.

Beautiful church. Loved the traditional aspect of it. I received a blessing the short time that I stayed. My apologies to Pastor Northe for having left so soon but Reggie had another engagement to attend to. I would have stayed longer but the injuries that I suffered the previous day left me no choice but to leave with him as he was my ride, otherwise I would have walked home.
